Reconstruction of Paleswa Pukhu
Historically stone spouts and ponds are serving as prominent water sources for Kathmandu valley since centuries. Due to rapid and haphazard urbanization, sealing the recharge areas and over extraction of groundwater are major reason being the diminishing water table and drying water sources in the area. With due time these historically and archeologically important stone spouts and ponds are being lost and their trace was not found.
